Bonsai is the simplest and best way to enjoy the individual's values and individual style.

Ikebana, the traditional Japanese culture, has its own style and rules.

On the other hand, bonsai has a long history, but there are no rules or "schools".

Furthermore, again in contrast to ikebana, there are no strict rules about regional origin for bonsai (in old days, most areas had it), and no license is required.

Therefore, it is a traditional Japanese culture where you can enjoy your favourite bonsai in your own style.

Bonsai originated in China and came to Japan after a long cultural evolution on the continent. At the time when bonsai was introduced to Japan, Japan was in a world where there was always a sense of tension and being on the brink of war. So bonsai, which gives people such a relaxing time, has become popular among some people.

Different people have different preferences for bonsai trees and tree shapes, so beginners can plant their favourite trees in bonsai pots and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery freely.
